New members - unable to download until becoming regular memb

I have been working on projects work almost exclusively for the past 10 years. I've been in a PM role for about 6-8 of those. Unfortunately, I've changed jobs and not having either a degree or my PMP has hindered me even with my experience. I am currently scheduled to take my PMP exam in January and I've missed my local PMI chapter's study group for this year so I'm going solo. I had gone through a bootcamp but it's been awhile so I'm looking for some online resources to help me boost my knowledge and confidence. I look forward to having this forum as a sounding board to ask questions and share experiences.

It is good to see a well moderated fourm with around 80,000 professional project managers.I have been woking on different projects for almost 7 and half years with a project management experencies in last 3 years. I am looking for a forum where I can interact with other project managers and can help me clarify different PM concepts and help me to prepare for PMP certification.

kudos to admins for great decision to control spam!!! Initially looks painful for new members but we all understand the spamming issues that make forums least effective. It reminds me strenuous security checks done by ATC now a days. This three-post review rule will not only control the spamming but also reduce hit-and-run members who just want to download great prep material available on this forum.

Now about me, I am Shuk, working as PM in HP, NA. I am scheduled to take my PMP on Dec/30. I look forward to contribute/communicate to this great forum of project/program managers.

Unfortunately, to prove yourself in any interview you need PMP certification then only you will qualify for that interview. I am currently scheduled to take my PMP exam in March 2012 and need a forum where I can visit regular to get guidance and which can boost up my confidence too. Thanks heaven for real life Project Managers who became new PMHUB members!

In the last few months since changing the new members requirements, PMHUB was full of trolls and robots with posts like: "admin, I need to access attachments" and worse: "this is my first post", "this is my second post", "this is my third post"

The state of PM Forums and Maling Lists in the last few years has been downgraded badly by members who show contempt for copyright laws.Many are asking for copies of popular books and courses. Worst than that, I have blocked post asking for "exam jockey" - people who are willing to write an exam for another person, a practice that may be popular in some countries...

We have to put a stop on this trivial postings and poor attitude and in future will not hesitate to ban all those members who displayed such attitude and purposely post trivial postings
